About

Why Recall Roadbook exists

Recall paperwork is written for compliance, not for everyday reading. We translate that material into plain language so vehicle owners can follow what a notice says and what usually happens next.

Our purpose

An independent reader's guide, nothing more

This website publishes general guidance about vehicle recalls and safety notices. It does not perform recall repairs, issue safety notices, sell vehicles or parts, or act as a manufacturer, dealer, repair facility, or government agency. Everything here exists to help you read official sources with more confidence.

Read the roadbooks for background, then verify your own vehicle with the manufacturer or an authorised dealer using your VIN. Official recall status always comes from those sources.
